The following boats are available for day hire (9am to 5pm) and evening hire (May to September 6pm to 8pm) and are operated from Bollington Wharf, Grimshaw Lane, Bollington, Macclesfield, SK10 5NB. View availability and book online.

White Nancy

White Nancy is a purpose built 35ft, brightly painted dayboat, suitable for up to 10 people. It is fairly easy to steer using the tiller with, a sociable cruiser stern deck as well as an open plan front deck / cabin area with roll up canvas sides & seating. The boat has a simple a galley / kitchen with hot & cold running water, 2 burner gas hob, kettle for brews, cups & crockery, complete with a supply of coffee, tea, sugar, milk, towels, tea towels, soap & washing-up liquid. There’s also a toilet compartment with flushing toilet & sink also with hot & cold running water. We also supply life jackets for any under 12 or anyone else who would like one. If needed we can supply a skipper for an additional fee.

Tegg’s Nose

Kerridge is a purpose built 32ft, traditionally painted dayboat, suitable for up to 10 people. It is fairly easy to steer using the tiller, with a traditional stern deck as well as an open plan front deck / cabin area with seating. The boat has a simple a galley / kitchen with hot & cold running water, 2 burner gas hob, kettle for brews, cups & crockery, complete with a supply of coffee, tea, sugar, milk, towels, tea towels, soap & washing-up liquid. There’s also a toilet compartment with flushing toilet & sink also with hot & cold running water. We also supply life jackets for any under 12 or anyone else who would like one. Training & Tuition

We give everyone a safety briefing & explanation of the features of the boat and can provide suggestions of routes & places to stop. We then give you professional tuition in handling and controlling the boat, once you are confident, we’ll leave you free to discover the beauty of the Macclesfield Canal
